Kerosene-Gox Torch Igniter

V1 Igniter

For a project related to Magnetar Space™, I decided to pursue the design and test campaign of a 22N 110 psi chamber pressure kerosene gaseous oxygen torch igniter. This was a relatively short test campaign because I had to go to College and couldn't (at the time) bring the testing with me. I ended up conducting 7 test firings, with the 7th having a minor incident with flashback due to testing parameters that were out of acceptable bounds. The first six tests performed flawlessly, and with the new oxygen line and valve implemented, it worked like a charm and produced beautiful results. These promising results lead to the development of a much higher pressure igniter that I will add to this site when complete.
